Our Brand promotes the Word of God
(Greek translation of the Word, Word is logos)
Yield 2 The Shield is a vision that God put on my heart. The logo was designed to reach people outside of The Church and into so many industries such as the workforce, entertainment industry, sports universe, and yes, even our political system. The Y2TS logo describes the Gospel of Christ--peace, joy, and love. Yield 2 The Shield began with a phrase that came to me one day. Then, God placed scriptures on my mind to perfectly correspond with this new phrase describing His love--His shield of protection, as is mentioned throughout God's Holy Word.
Genesis 15:1 (KJV) says, "After these things the word of the LORD came unto Abram in a vision, saying, Fear not, Abram: I am thy shield, and thy exceeding great reward."
John 8:12 (KJV) reads, "Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.
Lastly, Hebrews 4:12 (KJV) declares, "For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword."
We print our divinely designed logo onto performance apparel clothing, workout shirts, hats, fleece, jackets, hoodies, and even camouflage-type patterns. The most unique part of our brand is when someone asks, “What does that mean?" giving me the opportunity to share the gospel of Christ--God’s Mercy and Grace to humanity. His blessings, that are unearned and undeserved, with unmerited favor for each of us to receive God’s peace and joy through the finished works of His son, Jesus Christ.
MISSION STATEMENT
Hi, I am Johnny Sizemore, Founder of Yield 2 The Shield.
All throughout my life’s journey--from childhood to my time in the US Air Force to receiving a Marketing Degree from Eastern Kentucky University--I look back and see all the shields He placed in my life, and at the most specific times. My first duty assignment was in the Ellsworth AFB outside of Rapid City, South Dakota. The Base commander at that time was Colonel Barnett, who had graduated from the same high school as me just a few years earlier. Then, I went onto serving in the South East Asia conflict, where I was assigned to special operations duty in Bangkok, Thailand, which was commanded by another colonel who was from the same county as me in Kentucky. Two, incredible shields God placed in my life at the perfect time. Immeasurable in value!
Eternity vs. temporary. We all get to choose.
Accepting Christ as the Son of the Living God brings peace that surpasses all understanding, joy unspeakable, and the renewing of the mind, body, and spirit into the Trinity; to where You shall mount up with wings as eagles; You shall run, and not be weary; and You shall walk, and not faint. For HE is able to do exceedingly, and abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the Power that worketh in us.
